Join our beach clean!

Join us on one of our beach cleans

Did you know that 80% of ocean plastics come from inland rivers and canals? We’ve teamed up with Thames21 to continue our efforts to remove plastics at our closest waterway the Thames. We are also taking a record of what we find to help Thames21, and the Port of London Authority convince more businesses and organisations to make the change from single-use plastics.

Join us for a litter clean-up at the Thames foreshore lovingly called OXO beach. We’d say there is no better way to spend an afternoon.

The event is limited to 14 people so if you like to join email today to ensure you can join. Further details will be emailed a day before the event.

Dates for our upcoming beach cleans are listed below.

26th March 13:30-16:00 – Earth Hour

22nd April 11:30-14:00 – Earth Day

22nd May 12:30-15:00 – International Day of Biodiversity

8th June 13:00-16:00 World Oceans Day

31st July 9:30-13:00 End of Plastic Free July

28th September 9:30-13:00 World Rivers Day

We will provide litter pickers, gloves, bags and recording sheets, but we need you to dress for the occasion:

  • Sturdy and watertight shoes – best wellies
  • Dress according to weather – rainproof if the forecast indicates rain, sun protection and hats if the weather is glorious

See you then!
